From start to finish, your wedding is full of music. From your ceremony music, to tracks whilst socialising over a drink,  to the story of your relationship during your wedding breakfast. Of course, this is without even mentioning the evening reception! 

Booking Unity Wedding DJs to take the lead in providing this music means that you have one less thing to worry about whilst being sure that you will end up with the perfect soundtrack to your special day.

Everyone's day is different and Unity Wedding DJs will help you to come up with the perfect order - however, here is a 'typical day' and the role that we would play to make sure you have everything you want.

The Ceremony

Unity Wedding DJs will provide a compact but powerful speaker system for your ceremony music. From the groom's choice of pre-ceremony music, the song to walk down the isle or the 3 or 4 songs for the signing of the register, we will source the music, use professional equipment and make sure that everything happens when it is supposed to!

Canapés and Drinks

It is important to make sure your guests can do their catching up without having to shout because the music is too loud. Unity Wedding DJs will make sure our discreet sound system is loud enough for all but allowing your guests to hear each other. Produce a playlist for us or just give us a few songs and we will fill the gaps for you!

The Wedding Breakfast

Your wedding breakfast is the perfect opportunity to play those songs you love. Pick 25-30 songs, a musical history of your relationship together and we will source quality versions to play. Consider acoustic versions if you don't think the original is suitable.

Announcing you both into the room and introducing the speeches when it is time, Unity Wedding DJs will also provide a handheld radio microphone (or lapel microphone) to help those with a quieter voice to project throughout the room. 

Consider the classic 'sweepstake' - total time of the speeches. We can organise this for you - 100% of money collected for the winner or even give some money to charity!

The Evening Reception

The start of your reception
Why not start your evening reception with something which is going to break the ice a little - a perfect game to get you and your guests laughing and start your evening with a bang. Adam will host a game for the bride and groom which will be great for your guests to watch whilst teaching them a few things about the happy couple in the process!
The First Dance
Want to be the centre of attention for 3 minutes or want to get it over and done with? We will work with you to come up with the best scenario for you both, making sure that your photographer gets that 'perfect shot' before the dancefloor is full!
Want us to play two songs? Start the song from a certain point? Just let us know!
Your Music
We actively encourage you to give us the songs that you want to hear - send us your playlist and this will give us an idea of what you like. This mean we can fill the gaps to give you the perfect soundtrack to your evening. We will use our specially deigned request cards on your tables and announce that we welcome requests to make sure that your guests know we will play (almost) anything. We say almost because we also welcome a 'do not play' list!

We will always make sure that the end of the night is a big finish - getting you up to celebrate the final song with the people that matter, your friends and family!
